In my System Shock 2 article, I mentioned a list: The Ones That Got Away. Games I started playing but, for one reason or another, never finished. Their plots and characters remain in my head still; spectral figures tugging at my brain strings for resolution, desperately begging to be taken out of the box, and levelled up just one more time.
